1. About these terms
These terms govern your booking and participation in treks and events organised by AURALIS EXPERIENCES (“AURALIS”, “we”, “us”), based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
2. Booking and confirmation
- A booking is confirmed only when we confirm it to you directly, normally on WhatsApp.
- Submitting a form does not by itself reserve a seat.
- Seats are limited and allocated in the order bookings are confirmed.
- You must provide accurate participant details, including age, emergency contact and any relevant medical conditions.
- Online payment is not currently enabled on this website. Payment is arranged directly with our team.
3. Eligibility and fitness
- You must be reasonably fit for the route you book. Difficulty, distance and altitude are published on every trek page.
- Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
- You must read and accept our medical disclaimer before participating.
4. Trek leader authority
The trek leader has full authority on the trail. They may change the route, shorten the trek, set turnaround times, or ask a participant to descend, where they judge it necessary for safety. These decisions are final on the day. Refusing a reasonable safety instruction may result in your removal from the trek without refund.
5. Participant conduct
You agree to:
- Arrive at the pickup point on time; the group will not wait indefinitely
- Carry the equipment listed for your route, including appropriate footwear
- Stay with the group and follow the marked route
- Carry your own waste back down
- Respect local communities, private property, wildlife and other trekkers
- Treat fellow participants and leaders with respect
Alcohol and recreational drugs are not permitted on our treks. Harassment or discriminatory behaviour of any kind results in immediate removal from the trek and from future departures, without refund.
6. Changes and cancellations
Cancellation windows and refund entitlements are set out in our cancellation policy and refund policy, which form part of these terms.
We may change itineraries, timings, meeting points or routes where necessary. We will tell you as early as we reasonably can.
7. Assumption of risk and liability
You acknowledge that trekking involves inherent risks which cannot be eliminated, as described in our medical disclaimer, and you participate voluntarily with knowledge of those risks.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, AURALIS is not liable for loss, injury, illness, death, delay or damage to property arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, natural events, road and transport conditions, actions of third parties, or a participant's own act, omission or failure to disclose a relevant medical condition. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Insurance
Travel and medical insurance is not included in the trek fee. We strongly recommend you arrange your own cover appropriate to outdoor activity.
9. Personal belongings
You are responsible for your own belongings throughout. We recommend leaving valuables at home.
10. Photography
We photograph groups during treks and may use those images to promote AURALIS. If you would prefer not to appear, tell a trek leader at the briefing. See our privacy policy.
11. Website content
Content on this website is provided in good faith and may change. Route details such as distance, altitude and duration are approximate and depend on conditions and group pace.
