A forest walk that ends at a plunge pool below a tall waterfall — short on distance, generous on payoff.
Representative AURALIS trek photograph — not shot on this route.
Devkund is a walk through dense, humid forest with several stream crossings, opening suddenly onto a wide green pool fed by a single tall fall. The distance is modest and the climbing is limited, which is why it works well for a first trek. What it demands instead is care: the rocks are consistently wet, the stream crossings change depth with the rain, and the pool itself is deep. Swimming is permitted only where the local authority allows it on the day and only with life jackets, and the leaders will call it off outright if the flow is high.
