Representative AURALIS trek photograph — not shot on this route.
Kalsubai is the highest peak in Maharashtra and the one most people want on their list. The route from Bari village climbs steadily with four sets of iron ladders bolted to the steeper rock steps, ending at a small temple on the summit. It is a genuine climb and the altitude gain is significant, so we treat it as our hardest one-day route: an early start, a firm turnaround time, and a fitness expectation we will discuss with you honestly before you book.
Overnight travel to Bari village for a sunrise summit.
Tea, headtorch check and safety briefing.
Ascent in the dark, with ladder sections en route.
Time at the summit temple and the high point of the state.
Careful descent, breakfast at the base.
Afternoon return.
Timings are indicative and shift with weather, traffic and group pace.
