A long approach through paddy and forest to one of the tallest waterfalls in the range.
Representative AURALIS trek photograph — not shot on this route.
Kalu is remote enough that the walk in is most of the experience: field edges, forest, and a river crossing before the fall itself comes into view in tiers. It is a full day with real distance, and the last section involves boulder-hopping along the riverbed. We run it only when the river is behaving — high flow closes the route entirely, and we would rather move your date than push through it.
Travel toward the Malshej side.
